Sephora’s next sale is the 50% Off One-Day Deals event to directly compete with Ulta’s 21+ Days of Beauty sale. The sale kicked off on Aug. 28 and is expected to run until Sept. 18, 2026.

We’ve been keeping notes and digging in deep to determine when Sephora hosts its best sales. The exact dates of these events may fluctuate a little, but Sephora tends to host them around the same times each year — so we’re confident you can plan your beauty buys around this calendar.

Sephora Skincare Sale
The Sephora Skincare Sale directly competes with Ulta’s Love Your Skin Event in January. Sephora offers shoppers a 50% off discount on a different skincare brand every day during the event. You need to be quick because each deal only lasts for 24 hours. This year, the event kicked off on Jan. 2 and lasted through Jan. 17, 2026. Brands in the mix included Kiehl’s, Clinique, Paula’s Choice and First Aid Beauty.
Sephora Beauty Insider Birthday Gifts
At the beginning of January, Sephora reveals what you will receive as a free birthday gift for the calendar year! When your birthday month comes around, as a Beauty Insider member, you can choose a free gift from among the list of gift options for that year. The 2026 Beauty Insider freebies include products from Tower 28 Beauty, Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, dae, Glossier and Jo Malone London. If you are a VIB or Rouge member you can choose an exclusive Jo Malone London gift set while supplies last.

Sephora Valentine’s Day & Presidents’ Day Promos
As winter continues to drag on and beauty mavens twiddle our thumbs waiting for spring, up pops Sephora’s Valentine’s Day and Presidents’ Day promos to help us over the hump. While we haven’t seen sitewide sales this time of year, Sephora is known to offer promos on Valentine’s Day gifts (like 4x Beauty Insider points on fragrance gifts) as well as Beauty Insider challenges to boost your point earnings.
This year, Sephora also ran a Long Weekend Sale from Feb. 14 through Feb. 17, 2026 with deals like 50% off Tom Ford fragrance and 30% off Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Serum Face Mask.
March
Sephora 50% Off One-Day Deals Spring Sale
Sephora first launched its Oh Snap! Sale in 2020 – likely as a way to compete with Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty semi-annual savings event. Although the name has changed, this 50% off One Day Deals sale is still on and last took place from Mar. 6 through Mar. 26, 2026.
During each day of this sale, Sephora offers a new selection (approximately 10 items) of top-selling beauty products for 50% off, alongside deals on Sephora Collection products. Just keep in mind that Sephora usually limits shoppers to two purchases of the same product during this sale. In the past, featured brands have included MAC, Urban Decay, Clinique, Too Faced and Smashbox. This sale often mirrors Ulta’s semi-annual sale directly in terms of dates and products, so it’s not a bad idea to cross-check both for the best price and availability.

Sephora Spring Savings Event
April is not usually a major shopping month, but it’s actually one of the best times to scoop up savings on beauty products! One of Sephora’s most highly anticipated events, the Sephora Spring Savings Event, kicks off in April with big savings on almost everything online and in stores — including Sephora at Kohl’s.
Formerly known as the Sephora VIB Sale, it’s been rebranded to make it clear that this savings event is for all membership tiers — even entry-level Beauty Insiders. (Which, frankly, most of us are!)
The most recent Sephora Spring Savings Event stretched from Friday, Apr. 10 through Monday, Apr. 20, 2026, though different member tiers gained sale access on different dates:
- Rouge: 20% off your entire purchase, from Apr. 10 through Apr. 20, 2026
- VIB: 15% off your entire purchase, from Apr. 14 through Apr. 20, 2026
- Insider: 10% off your entire purchase, from Apr. 14 through Apr. 20, 2026
Plus, all Beauty Insiders received 30% off the Sephora Collection from Apr. 10 through Apr. 20, 2026.
Aside from the Sephora Collection, Beauty Insiders saved big on top brands like Fenty Beauty, Rhode, Summer Fridays, Rare Beauty, Tatcha, Paula’s Choice, Glow Recipe, Farmacy, Dyson and The Ordinary. Sephora also simultaneously hosted a Beauty Insider Spring Beauty Challenge in the Sephora app where shoppers could earn up to 500 bonus points for completing select tasks, such as purchasing a fragrance or skincare product.

Sephora Hair Faves Spring Sale
Previously known as the Oh Hair Yeah! sale, this hair care savings event typically pops up around late April through early May each year. Most recently, it ran from Apr. 23 through May 4, 2026 and offered new daily deals up to 50% off hair products and hair styling tools.
The Sephora Hair Faves sale presents shoppers with the chance to stock up on their favorite hair care products, and in 2026, it featured 35% off OUAI, 20% off Dyson, and 30% off Vegamour, Shark Beauty, Olaplex and Color Wow.
Sephora Memorial Day Sale
Sephora’s Memorial Day sale ushers in the summer season with savings up to 50% off beauty must-haves from top brands. Most recently, the sale began around May 22 and ran through May 26, 2026. It included 50% off trendy favorites like Saie Glow Sculpt cream bronzer, Jo Malone London cologne duos, Fenty Beauty Brow MVP ultra-fine brow pencil, First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream, Maison Margiela Replica candles, BRIOGEO Don’t Despair Repair hair treatment and hundreds more products.
Plus, Beauty Insiders of all levels were able to use the code STACKPOINTS to earn more than 500 bonus points on cart purchases of $75 or more.

Sephora Major Summer Deals
Sephora held a Major Summer Deals event from June 11 to June 23, 2026 to compete with Ulta’s Big Summer Beauty Sale. The 13 days of deals included big discounts on Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream, Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask, Laneige Lip Glowy Balm, The Dewy Skin Cream from Tatcha, Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Plumping Gloss, Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Concealer, Huda Beauty Easy Blur Foundation, JVN Air Dry Styling Cream and PATTERN Detangling Nectar. Plus, there were even some prices slashed in half for the duration of the event — not the easy-to-miss, one-day deals of most other Sephora sales!

Sephora Fourth of July Sale
The name of this sale may change from year to year, but Sephora usually hosts a small sale around the Fourth of July holiday. This year, it ran through July 7, 2026 and included 30% off the Sephora Collection and up to 40% off other brands like Shark Beauty and IT Cosmetics.
Sephora National Lipstick Day Deals
National Lipstick Day falls on July 29 every year and Sephora always holds a big sale to commemorate the kissable occasion. The sale last ran from July 25 through July 29, 2026 with savings up to 50% off lipsticks, lip balms, lip oils, lip glosses and other top lippie products from top brands like Charlotte Tilbury, Clinique, Summer Fridays and the brand’s in-house Sephora Collection.

Sephora App Fest
The most recent Sephora App Fest ran from Aug. 17 through Aug. 28, 2026 with one-day-only promos shoppable exclusively in the Sephora app. It featured 25% off select brands, including OLEHENRIKSEN, Make Up For Ever, Amika, Dyson, Color Wow, Olaplex, Yves Saint Laurent and Tarte. App shoppers also gained early access to new fall beauty launches, and there were also Beauty Insider point multipliers, bonus points-earning opportunities and Beauty Insider challenges for rewards members to rack up max loyalty points.

Sephora One-Day Deals 50% Off Fall Sale
One of the most-anticipated Sephora sales of the year, the semi-annual One-Day Deals 50% Off event comes around again just in time for autumn, typically launching at the end of August. Previously known as the Oh Snap! sale, Sephora’s One-Day Deals compete directly with Ulta’s 21+ Days of Beauty.
This year, the sale opened up to Beauty Insiders of all tiers on Aug. 28 and, based on previous years and Ulta’s competing sale, we expect the Sephora 50% Off One-Day Deals event to run through Sept. 18, 2026.
Like the spring event, Sephora offers a selection of daily deals that slash top product prices in half, plus some weeklong deals and discounts on the Sephora Collection. The 2026 preview advertises one-day-only discounts from favorite brands, like Patrick Ta, Drunk Elephant, Grande Cosmetics, Clinique, Briogeo, Urban Decay, Phlur and lots more.
Sephora Friends and Family Sale
Sephora’s Friends and Family Sale provides a select group of people (i.e., Sephora employees and their friends and family) with a one-time 20% off discount code. This event took place from Sept. 5 through Sept. 14, 2025, so look for the next one to happen around Labor Day 2026. There’s just one caveat: if you aren’t connected to someone with a code who can also provide you the required referral link, you won’t have a chance to save.
October
Sephora Hair Faves Fall Sale
While Sephora no longer calls its semi-annual hair care sales the “Oh Hair Yeah!” events, the retailer still typically hosts a second round of discounts on hair products around early October. Last year, the fall version of the Sephora Hair Faves sale kicked off on Sept. 29, 2025, so we expect the next one to start around Sept. 28, 2026. Based on the length of the sale in previous years, the Hair Faves sale will likely run until about Oct. 9, 2026.
Sephora National Brow Day Sale
National Brow Day lands on Oct. 2 every year so, naturally, Sephora celebrates with a one-day sale on waterproof brow pencils, brow pens, brow laminating gels, eyebrow pomades and more. Last year’s sale featured 50% off select brow-enhancing products, like Benefit Cosmetics 24-Hour Brow Setter, Glossier Boy Brow, Urban Decay Brow Blade and Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. We expect to see this sale pop up again on Oct. 2, 2026.

Sephora Holiday Savings Event
The Sephora Holiday Savings Event is open to all membership tiers and offers different sitewide discounts and sale access based on your membership level. Last year, this Sephora Beauty Insider sale ran from Oct. 31 through Nov. 10, 2025. Based on the past, we expect to see the next Sephora Holiday Savings Event start around Oct. 30, 2026 for Rouge members and around Nov. 3, 2026 for everyone else.
As with other Beauty Insider sales, the Sephora Holiday Savings Event rewarded higher membership tiers with greater savings and earlier access to deals. Here is a typical breakdown of the savings by tier:
- Rouge: 20% off your entire purchase (and four days of early access)
- VIB: 15% off your entire purchase
- Insider: 10% off your entire purchase
The entire Sephora Collection is also 30% off for all shoppers throughout the duration of the sale.
P.S. If you are a Rouge member, or you have a friend who is, they can share the savings! Rouge members can usually give a friend a one-time 20% off discount code to use during the first few days of the sale.
Sephora Cyber Week Sale
Sephora hosts a massive Cyber Week sale that actually kicks off the Monday before the Black Friday sale begins, and it wraps up after Cyber Monday ends. Throughout the extended sale period, Sephora tends to have daily or limited-time promotions, such as 30–50% off specific brands like Fenty Beauty, Tarte and Kiehls. The Sephora Cyber Week sale is also open to all shoppers — not just Sephora Beauty Insiders.
Last year, the Sephora Cyber Week sale ran from Nov. 24 through Dec. 4, 2025, with app-exclusive access beginning on Nov. 22, 2025. Based on the date of Thanksgiving this year, we project the sale will run from Nov. 23 through Dec. 3, 2026, with early access starting on Nov. 21, 2026.
Sephora Black Friday Sale
Right in the middle of the Cyber Week savings event, Sephora always holds a dedicated Black Friday sale with particularly impressive, limited-time offers specifically for that day. Just like Cyber Week, these deals are available to everyone, not just Beauty Insider members.
Sephora’s Black Friday sale usually takes place on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, so look out for these deals to land around Nov. 26, 2026.
Sephora Cyber Monday Sale
Falling on the Monday after Thanksgiving, Cyber Monday is the retail world’s online-centric version of Black Friday. And just like Black Friday, Sephora hosts some more impressive, one-day deals specifically on Cyber Monday in the midst of its larger Cyber Week sale.
In the tradition of Cyber Monday sales, this Sephora holiday sale comprises a series of online-exclusive deals to tempt the savvy holiday shopper. This one, too, is open to all holiday shoppers hoping to score Sephora on sale — and sometimes you’ll even find extra savings in the app. The next Sephora Cyber Monday sale is slated to land on Nov. 30, 2026.

Sephora Gifts for All Events
Sephora’s Gifts For All Event is exactly what it sounds like: all Sephora Beauty Insider tiers have the opportunity to save on holiday gift sets and other bundles during this sale. You may also see Beauty For All and Fragrance For All events popping up around this time. The gifts event typically gives all Beauty Insiders 20% off their entire purchase and 30% off the Sephora Collection; the fragrance event usually offers 20% off full-sized scents.
Last year, the sale launched right after Cyber Week ended, running from Dec. 5 through Dec. 14, 2025. If that pattern holds, we should see the Gifts For All Event again around Dec. 4, 2026.
Sephora End-of-Year Sale
Starting the day after the gift wrap has been ripped off the packages, Sephora typically holds an end-of-year sale the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day — so you can stock up on all the beauty essentials that Santa forgot to bring you. This is the last sale of the year and, most recently, included additional markdowns of 20% off already-reduced sale items, holiday gift sets, bundles and more. This “Sale on Sale” event is available both online and in store.
In 2025, the Sephora after-Christmas sale included deals on fan-favorite brands like Kiehl’s, Olaplex, Laneige, Rare Beauty, Glow Recipe and First Aid Beauty. We predict this sale will next begin on Dec. 26, 2026 and run through Jan. 1, 2027 just like it has in previous years.
